How to Enable Notifications if Previously Blocked or Denied Access
Notifications help you stay connected with real-time updates, reminders, and alerts related to your BrandChamp program. By enabling notifications, you won’t miss out on activity, community, or approved rewards updates. If you've previously blocked or denied notification permissions on your mobile device, follow the steps below to re-enable them.
Steps to Enable Notifications on iOS (Safari)
Step 1: Update notification settings from the settings app
- Open the Settings app on your phone, then look for the Brand name or program URL
- Find the BrandChamp app, which might also be named as the brand, example; Demo Brand
- Open the notifications option and toggle on the ‘Allow Notifications’ option
Step 2: Go to BrandChamp and Confirm Permissions
After updating your settings, revisit the BranChamp app from your home screen or recent. You may receive a prompt asking if you want to enable notifications, tap "Allow" to ensure you start receiving notifications. Alternatively, you can visit the menu, look for the option ‘Enable Push Notification’ and enable notifications from there.
Steps to Enable Notifications on Android (Google Chrome)
Step 1: Update Browser Notification Settings
If you've previously blocked notifications, you need to adjust your mobile browser settings to allow them again.
- Go to the BrandChamp app on your app screen, in your case, find the name of the brand and long-press on the icon
- Click on the ‘Site Settings’ option
- Open the Notifications option
- Alternatively, you can open your phone settings and navigate to ‘Chrome > Notifications’ and select ‘Configure in Chrome’ option and enable notifications from there
- Toggle the switch to ‘Allow Notifications’
Step 2: Go to BrandChamp and Confirm Permissions
After updating your settings, revisit the BrandChamp app from your home screen or recent apps area. You may receive a prompt asking if you want to enable notifications. Tap "Allow" to ensure you start receiving alerts. Alternatively, you can visit the menu, look for the option ‘Enable Push Notification’ and enable notifications from there.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Reinstall the application: If issues persist, uninstall and reinstall the BrandChamp app to reset permissions.
- Clear Browser Data: If notifications still aren't working, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then revisit the BrandChamp app.
