Guide to installing the BrandChamp Web App and enabling notifications
Installing the BrandChamp Web App allows you to access your account and open the app directly from your mobile device without needing to visit a website. It functions like a regular mobile application, accessible from your home screen, and also provides real-time notifications. This ensures you stay connected with your brand program and activities across all your mobile devices.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to install the BrandChamp Web App on different operating systems and how to enable notifications so you never miss an update.
Installing the BrandChamp Web App
Installing the BrandChamp web app is quite simple. Follow the steps below for your operating system to get started:
For Safari Browser
1. Visit the BrandChamp website using Safari browser
2. Click on the share icon (a square with an up arrow) located at the bottom of your screen
3. Scroll down the share options and select "Add to Home Screen"
4. Tap "Add" on the next screen, and the BrandChamp app will be added to your home screen
For Chrome Browser
1. Start by opening the Chrome browser and navigating to the BrandChamp website
2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser
3. Select "Add to Home screen" from the menu
4. You will be shown two options, Install app or Create shortcut. Select the Install App option
5. The BrandChamp icon will now appear on your home screen, ready for you to use
For Other Browsers
- Open the BrandChamp website in any browser you’re using.
- Access the browser’s settings menu, typically found under the three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down and look for the option “Add to Home Screen.” Select it.
- Tap “Add” on the next screen. The BrandChamp app will now appear on your home screen.
- If your browser doesn’t support the “Add to Home Screen” option:
- Open Google Chrome, copy the brand’s website URL, and append /install at the end.
- For example, if the brand’s website is www.example.com, use www.example.com/install to install the app.
Enabling Mobile Push Notification
Once you have installed the application, you will have to open the app from the homescreen and log in. A prompt to enable notification will be shown upon logging in. Enable notifications from the prompt directly.
Alternatively, you can also find the option to enable notifications in the menu bar.
